Meghna Iyer 

Rising freshman at the Academy of Allied Health at Scotch Plains

Meghna  has been a student of Sanchari School since 2016 and has participated in multiple dance events from​ the school as a beginner into her senior training years. During the pandemic, she participated in the Virtual Arts for Humanity showcase and was one of the semi finalists. Training for and performing this arangetram has been an incredibly positive experience for her.

Meghna is an avid artist and has been taking art lessons from Mrs. Sandra Cerchio in Scotch Plains. Her art submission was featured on the cover page of the  journal of Social Justice Matters in 2021.

Meghna is a high honor roll student at school. She has served as Vice President of student council in 8th grade, is a member of the yearbook as well as the Debate Clubs at school. She played piano for the Terrill Middle School jazz and also french horn for the band
